As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a com of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth along: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed.

He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it
